The story
Socket boxes in masonry
Electricians, kitchen fitters and HVAC installers cutting holes for socket boxes and pipes in brick walls and aerated block use it in a rotary drill. It also cuts softwood, chipboard, plywood, MDF and plastic-coated board, so one saw covers mixed walls.
Know the limits
Milwaukee rates it for solid and cavity brick, aerated and lightweight block and soft sand-lime block up to 30 N/mm². It is not for concrete, granite, natural stone, hard brick or hard sand-lime block; for those, use a TCT or diamond core cutter.
