The story
The everyday drill
Carpenters, fitters and installers drill and drive in wood, steel and masonry all day. The SF 6H-22 gives 85 Nm hard and 65 Nm soft torque, 490 rpm in first gear for large bits and 2000 rpm in second for fast drilling, and a hammer mode for small holes in brick and block.
Built for site use
A full metal chuck, brushless motor, rubber bumpers and improved cooling are meant to cope with hard use. Active Torque Control, rare on drills in this class, cuts the motor if a large bit catches, and an LED light in the base lights the work area. There are 15 clutch settings.
On Nuron
It runs on the same Nuron 22V batteries as Hilti's hammers, saws and grinders. At 1.68 kg for the tool alone it is compact enough for overhead screwing yet strong enough for self-drilling screws and hole saws. It is sold bare, in a box or in a case.
