The story
Small tool, real torque
Electricians, kitchen fitters and joiners who drill and drive inside cupboards, ceiling voids and control panels need a light drill that still handles 8 mm wood screws. The FDD2 drills 35 mm in wood and 13 mm in steel, and at 151 mm long it fits where an 18V drill does not.
Control for fine work
A mechanical clutch with 13 settings stops screws before they strip hinges or break through thin board. Two gears, 0–450 and 0–1,550 rpm, cover slow driving and quick drilling. The metal chuck grips bits firmly, and the LED, fuel gauge and metal belt clip are on board.
On the M12 platform
It runs on every M12 battery. The top kit has two 6.0 Ah packs and a charger in an HD Box; 4.0 Ah, 2.0 Ah and bare versions are also sold. Add a SHOCKWAVE bit set and a PACKOUT compact organiser for screws and fixings.
