The story
For drilling and driving only
Carpenters, fitters and installers who rarely drill masonry get the torque of the percussion drill without the hammer mechanism. Two gears cover slow, high-torque boring up to 89 mm in wood with augers or hole saws, and fast drilling in steel up to 16 mm. The shorter head helps between joists and inside cabinets.
Safe when a bit catches
AUTOSTOP senses when the body starts to rotate because a hole saw or auger has jammed and cuts the motor before the wrist takes the load. The POWERSTATE brushless motor and REDLINK PLUS electronics hold speed under load, and the LED and fuel gauge help in dark voids and on long days.
