The story
A first M18 drill
Renovators and trades starting on M18 get a percussion drill that handles plugs in brick, screws in timber and holes in steel without paying for FUEL. It drills 16 mm in masonry, 13 mm in steel and 76 mm in wood with a hole saw or auger.
Balanced and compact
At 180 mm long it is light enough for overhead work, and the brushless motor gives 40 percent more torque than the model it replaced. Two speeds, 0–550 and 0–1,800 rpm, cover slow boring and fast drilling; a fuel gauge and LED are on board.
Grow into the system
Every M18 battery fits, so the packs that come in the kit work later in saws, grinders and lights. Sold with two 5.0 Ah or two 4.0 Ah batteries, or bare in an HD Box. Add a Thunderweb HSS-G bit set for steel and a SHOCKWAVE bit set for screws.
