The story
The size you use most
Electricians, plumbers and installers drill 6 mm holes all day for plugs, clips and light anchors. A pack of ten keeps every hammer on the crew supplied, and the 100 mm working length covers plug depth through render and tiles into the wall behind.
Carbide head that survives rebar
The MX4 head is solid carbide with four cutters, a sharp centring tip and rebar guards, so it starts cleanly and keeps its diameter when it hits reinforcement. A reinforced core with alternating spirals clears dust quickly, and a convex shank end transfers more impact energy.
