The story
Deep holes in concrete
Groundworkers, plumbers and electricians drilling 20 mm pass-throughs, starter bar holes and heavy anchor holes in reinforced concrete use this size with an SDS-max hammer. The 400 mm working length goes through most walls and slabs in one pass; Milwaukee advises pre-drilling with a shorter bit of the same size.
Made for rebar
A large carbide tip with four 90° cutters and patented rebar chamfers reduces jamming and vibration when it hits steel. A 130° centring point starts accurately, short spirals clear dust fast, and the reinforced flute passes more hammer energy to the tip.
