Festool

Festool started in 1925 near Stuttgart as Fezer & Stoll and went on to put the plunge-cut saw on a guide rail. The idea has not changed since: bring workshop accuracy to the building site, for joiners, carpenters, fitters and painters.

Tools travel in Systainer cases, dock onto CT extractors that start with the tool, and ride the same guide rails. Buyers pay for the system as much as for the tool: less dust, cleaner cuts and fewer steps between them.
