The story
Light and strong
Installers and fitters who work overhead with impact drivers, compact circular saws and nailers want a small pack that still delivers full power. The HB3 is compact but uses HIGH OUTPUT cells for up to 50 percent more power than a standard M18 pack.
Cool running
It runs up to 50 percent cooler than standard packs in heavy use, so thermal cut-outs are rarer. A metal frame protects the cells, REDLINK guards against overload, and a fuel gauge shows the charge. It fits every M18 tool.
Quick to charge
It is full in 36 minutes on the M12-18 FC, M18 DFC or DBSC, so two packs can rotate through a working day without waiting. Two of them come in the M18 FCS552 kit. At 0.7 kg it suits tools you hold at arm's length.
