The story
Who it's for
Anyone running high-draw 18V tools all day: SDS-max hammers, 1,800 W-class circular saws, grinders and mitre saws. Bosch rates ProCORE18V packs at up to 2,000 W corded-equivalent output, which is what BITURBO tools need to reach their full performance. It weighs 0.955 kg and measures 77 x 117 x 70 mm.
What sets it apart
Newer cells and battery management deliver, by Bosch's figures, 87 percent more power than conventional packs. COOLPACK 2.0 pulls heat from the cells to the housing, which Bosch says extends service life by 135 percent. A fuel gauge shows the charge level.
Compatibility
It fits all Bosch Professional 18V tools and chargers, including older ones, and every AMPShare partner tool. Paired with the GAL 18V-160 it charges fully in 44 minutes. That makes it a good partner for grinders, SDS-max hammers and the GCM 18V-305 GDC mitre saw, which Bosch rates at full power with ProCORE18V packs of 5.5 Ah and up.
