The story
For framing and sheet goods
Carpenters and builders cutting studs, joists and sheet material need a saw that crosses between rough framing and straighter panel cuts. This 190 mm saw cuts 68 mm deep, enough for a stack of three 22 mm OSB boards, and switches to guide-rail cutting when accuracy matters.
Rail-compatible base
The magnesium shoe fits Milwaukee guide rails and keeps the same cut line at any bevel angle, reducing setup time. The saw holds 6,000 rpm under load, which Milwaukee rates at 700 cuts in 90 x 45 mm pine on one 12.0 Ah FORGE pack. An LED and dust blower keep the cut line visible.
Dust and power
A DEK26 adaptor connects the saw to Milwaukee dust extractors, and a rafter hook helps on roofs and scaffolds. It takes any M18 pack but is tuned for FORGE batteries; the kit includes one FB12 12.0 Ah pack and the M12-18 FC charger.
