The story
A site saw without a cable
Carpenters and joiners fitting skirting, decking and framing on sites without mains power use this saw for accurate crosscuts and mitres. The 254 mm blade cuts boards up to 289 mm wide and 91 mm high, and it runs on standard M18 batteries.
Accurate setups
A steel detent plate with preset angles gives repeatable mitres, and a quick-release bevel allows both left and right bevels up to 48°. Tall sliding fences support mouldings, and a trenching stop sets depth for housings and rebates. An LED lights the cut line.
Runtime and transport
Milwaukee rates up to 430 cuts in 26 x 142 mm decking on one 12.0 Ah pack, enough for a full day. An integrated carry handle helps on and off site, and the saw is sold bare for users with M18 batteries.
