The story
Everyday fixing tool
Carpenters, steel fixers and general builders drive thousands of screws a week, from trim fixings to long structural screws and coach bolts. The FID3 is built for that volume: short enough to get between joists at 113 mm, and strong enough at 226 Nm to handle bolts up to M16.
Four drive modes
DRIVE CONTROL gives four settings. Mode 1 is for small fixings and soft materials, mode 2 limits power to avoid snapping screws, mode 3 releases full output, and mode 4 adjusts speed and impacts on its own as load rises. REDLINK PLUS monitors individual cells so the pack is protected during hard driving.
M18 system
Any M18 pack fits, from compact 2.0 Ah to HIGH OUTPUT batteries. It is sold bare, bare in an HD Box, or as a kit with two 5.0 Ah packs and the M12-18 FC charger, and it partners well with the M18 FPD3 percussion drill.
