The story
For joinery and fit-out
Kitchen fitters, joiners and interior carpenters cutting worktops, doors and laminated panels need splinter-free edges. The FPS55 plunges to 55 mm on the rail, enough for most worktops and sheet material, with speed adjustable from 2,500 to 5,600 rpm for different materials.
Details for precision
Separate depth scales for on and off the rail, a scoring stop for a 1 mm back cut, bevel stops at 22.5°, 45° and 48°, and a flat-sided guard that cuts within 12 mm of a wall. A sprung riving knife retracts for plunge cuts and a side window shows the blade front.
Dust and storage
The enclosed guard channels dust to a DEK26 port for Milwaukee extractors, and a dust bag is included. The bare tool ships in a PACKOUT XL box that stacks with the rest of the PACKOUT range, and HIGH OUTPUT packs give Milwaukee's quoted 45 m of 18 mm ply per 5.5 Ah charge.
