The story
Who it's for
Tradespeople who want ProCORE output in a mid-size pack for drills, impact wrenches, circular saws and grinders. Bosch names 5.5 Ah as the minimum ProCORE18V size for full power on its BITURBO grinders, circular saws and SDS-max hammers. It suits two- or three-battery rotations.
What sets it apart
The pack uses the same cell technology and battery management as larger ProCORE18V packs. Bosch rates it at up to 2,000 W corded-equivalent output. COOLPACK 2.0 moves heat out of the cells for longer life, and a fuel gauge shows the remaining charge.
Compatibility
It works with every Bosch Professional 18V tool and charger and with AMPShare partner tools. A GAL 18V-160 fast charger is a good match on busy sites. Because every Bosch 18V pack fits every 18V tool, it can move between the drill, grinder and saw during a shift. It weighs 0.955 kg.
