The story
Charging for a crew
Site managers and crews with a pile of M18 packs set it up in the site cabin or van and leave it to work through six batteries, two at a time at rapid rate. Milwaukee states six M18 B5 packs are charged in three hours.
Part of PACKOUT
It locks onto PACKOUT boxes and trolleys, so it travels in the same stack as the tools. A carry handle, wall mounting and storage caddies for phones and small devices make it a charging station rather than just a charger.
Charge times
Per pack: 26 minutes for a 2.0 Ah, 59 minutes for a 5.0 Ah and 130 minutes for a 12.0 Ah. REDLINK optimises charge rates by battery type and temperature. The USB-C port charges phones and tablets, so the whole crew's devices are ready as well.
