The story
Full power, less weight
The TBX 4 is the pack to put on drills, drivers, jigsaws and compact saws when weight and balance matter. Tabless cells have lower internal resistance, so they deliver high current without the voltage sag of older packs, stay usable in heat and cold, and can be recharged straight after use. On the AIRSTREAM SCA 16 charger it is ready again in about 25 minutes.
Part of the system
It fits every Festool 18V tool except the ETSC 125, RTSC 400 and DTSC 400 sanders, which use the Ergo pack. Bluetooth starts a compatible CLEANTEC extractor when the tool starts, and the app shows charge, temperature and cycles. An LED gauge and a soft-touch frame that stops tools sliding on slopes are standard.
