The story
For fixing and installation work
The KHC 18 is sized for electricians, plumbers and interior fitters who drill anchor holes, cable routes and pipe penetrations in concrete and masonry. It is at its best between 6 and 18 mm and reaches 26 mm in concrete. Rotation stop allows light chiselling, and switching off the hammer turns it into a drill.
Safer and easier on the hands
The electronic KickbackStop cuts the motor if a bit snags on rebar, and a mechanical slip clutch backs it up. A vibration damper and ergonomic handle keep hand-arm vibration down. There is an LED light, a depth stop on the auxiliary handle, a scaffold hook and a safety lock against accidental starting.
Two chucks, one system
Besides the SDS-plus chuck, a 13 mm keyless chuck clips on without tools for round, hex and bit shanks. A dust extraction device is available as an accessory; with a Bluetooth battery the CLEANTEC extractor starts with the tool. The Basic kit ships bare in a Systainer³ SYS3 L 187.
