The story
For big screws and big bits
The TPC 18/4 suits carpenters and installers who drive 8–10 mm screws, bore with augers and Forstner bits, and still need a quick hole in brick now and then. First gear handles demanding screws up to 10 mm, second drives 8 × 300 mm screws, and fourth runs small bits at 3,600 rpm. Gears can be changed directly without passing through the others.
Safety built in
If a bit jams, the electronic KickbackStop cuts the drive before the handle twists the wrist. The brushless EC-TEC motor and four-speed metal gearbox give 75 Nm on hard joints and 70 mm in wood. With a Bluetooth pack, the Festool app sets the LED light, reverses the switch for left-handers and shows operating data.
Part of the 18V system
Like the smaller drills it has a FastFix spindle, so the MMFP 13 mm chuck, CENTROTEC chuck and the AN-UNI angle head all fit. It runs on any Festool 18V pack. The Basic version comes with an auxiliary handle and belt clip in a Systainer³ SYS3 M 187; the sets add attachments or batteries.
