The story
For everyday power tools
Carpenters, electricians and plumbers using grinders, saws and hammers on M18 get more power from this pack than from a standard 5.0 Ah REDLITHIUM battery, at roughly the same size and weight. That makes it an easy upgrade for tools that currently struggle under load.
Cooler running
Milwaukee rates it to run up to 50 percent cooler than a standard 5.0 Ah pack, which reduces thermal cut-outs during long cuts or drilling runs. A fuel gauge readable in direct sunlight shows charge, and REDLINK electronics protect tool and pack from overload.
Charging
It charges in 59 minutes on the M12-18 FC and 39 minutes on the dual-bay super charger, and it fits every M18 tool in the range. For high-demand tools such as SDS-max hammers, mitre saws or dust extractors, the FORGE range offers more capacity and power.
