Why this one
01
Anti-vibration
AVT counterbalance for lower hand-arm exposure.
02
Kickback shut-off
AFT stops the motor when the bit suddenly locks.
03
Wireless auto-start
AWS starts a paired extractor with the trigger.
04
3.0 J impact energy
Up to 28 mm in concrete, 6–20 mm optimal.
The story
For heavier fixing work
When holes get bigger and more frequent, a 2 J hammer starts to struggle. The HR007G delivers 3.0 J and up to 5,000 blows per minute, with an optimal range of 6 to 20 mm and a maximum of 28 mm in concrete. It suits M&E contractors, groundworkers and fit-out teams drilling through slabs all day.
Safety and comfort
AVT counterbalancing brings drilling vibration down to 10.4 m/s², which extends the time you can use it within exposure limits. AFT senses when the bit binds and cuts the motor before the housing twists in your hand. XPT sealing and a brushless motor keep it running on wet and dusty sites.
Dust-free drilling
AWS pairs the hammer with a Makita extractor over Bluetooth, so the vacuum starts and stops with the trigger. It runs on all XGT batteries and shares packs with the SDS-max hammers, breakers, grinders and saws in the 40Vmax range.
