The story
The hinge-cup size
Thirty-five millimetres is the cup size of most concealed furniture hinges, so kitchen and cabinet fitters bore it more than any other large hole. This Forstner bit leaves a flat, clean-rimmed blind hole in chipboard, MDF and solid wood, and the exchangeable centring point keeps it on the mark.
Built to last
Made from ball-bearing steel, it can be resharpened up to five times. The CENTROTEC shank clicks into the WH-CE chuck of Festool FastFix drills such as the TXS 18, CXS 18, T 18+3 and TDC 18/4, so it is quick to swap with a pilot drill during fitting.
