The story
For fitters who work overhead
The CXS 18 is built for kitchen fitters, joiners and installers who mount fittings, runners, blinds and skirting all day. The grip sits directly behind the spindle, so pressure goes straight into the screw rather than into your wrist. Two gears, 13 torque settings and an electronic cut-off keep hinge and trim screws at a repeatable depth, and a switchable LED lights the work inside cabinets.
One head, many jobs
The FastFix spindle takes the supplied 10 mm keyless chuck without tools, and every attachment made for the current Festool 18V drivers fits too: angle head, eccentric adapter for screwing close to edges, depth stop and CENTROTEC chuck. With a Bluetooth battery the LED and the direction switch can be set in the Festool Work app, which also lets left-handers move the switch out of the way. The Basic version comes bare in a Systainer³ SYS3 M 187.
