The story
Grinding welds and edges
Metalworkers and installers use a thick grinding disc to take down welds, chamfer edges and remove burrs and rust on steel. The 6 mm SG 27 disc has a depressed centre so the grinder can be held at a flat angle close to the surface.
Good life per disc
Milwaukee rates it for sound performance in mild steel and non-alloy tool steel, with a good lifetime and efficient grinding. For finishing after grinding, switch to a zirconium flap disc; for cutting, use a thin SCS 41 disc. It fits all 125 mm grinders with a 22.2 mm bore.
