The story
For cutting and grinding
Metalworkers, builders and plumbers cutting steel, grinding welds and cutting masonry need a grinder that works like a corded tool without the lead. Milwaukee rates this 125 mm model as similar to an 1,800 W corded grinder; it runs at 9,000 rpm and cuts up to 33 mm deep on batteries.
Built-in protection
The RAPIDSTOP brake stops the disc in about two seconds, anti-kickback protection shuts the tool down if the disc snags, and the non-locking paddle switch with line lock-out prevents restarts after a battery swap. An anti-vibration side handle reduces fatigue, and the guard adjusts without a key.
Range fit
FIXTEC allows disc changes without a spanner, and the handle has a slim profile for a secure grip. The grinder belongs to the HIGH OUTPUT family, designed to get the most from HIGH OUTPUT and FORGE packs; the kit version includes two FORGE 8.0 Ah batteries, a charger and an HD Box.
