The story
Cold cutting in steel
Electricians, metalworkers and roofers cutting strut, steel tube, channel, angle, aluminium profiles and sandwich panels get clean, burr-free edges that can be handled straight away. There are no sparks and no coolant, which makes it safer indoors than an abrasive disc.
Engineered teeth
Top-grade carbide and cermet tips last longer, a fully hardened and tensioned body cuts accurately, deep gullets clear chips quickly and resin-filled expansion slots reduce noise and vibration. Milwaukee states it costs less per cut than abrasive discs. It is not for rebar.
