Quadruple helix
Four flutes clear drilling dust for a consistent drilling speed.
04
Volume pricing
Unit price drops at 8, 16 and 32 bits, based on Hilti multipacks.
The story
The anchor-hole bit
10 mm is one of the most common anchor sizes on fit-out and installation work, and electricians and plumbers drilling for fixings use these bits up quickly. The TE-CX has 100 mm of working length and 170 mm overall, enough for most anchors in slab and wall, and it fits any SDS-plus hammer in the range, not only Hilti's.
Head and helix
The solid carbide head has four cutting edges, and Hilti's gradient carbide is meant to cut through rebar rather than jam on it. A quadruple helix clears dust for a steady drilling rate. The wear mark on the head shows when the bit is too worn to drill a hole that an anchor will hold in, which matters on inspected installations.
Priced for volume
Hilti sells the same bit in packs of 8, 16 and 32, and we pass that through as quantity pricing: the unit price falls by about half between a single bit and a pack of 32. It pairs with the Hilti TE 30-22 and the other SDS-plus hammers we carry.
