The story
For fitters on XGT
Joiners and interior fitters who carry 40Vmax batteries get a plunge saw on the same platform. The SP001G cuts 56 mm at 90° and 40 mm at 45°, with a bevel range of -1° to 48°. It is well suited to worktops, doors, panels and flooring where edge quality matters.
Finish and control
Constant-speed control keeps the blade speed steady through the cut for a clean edge, and soft start makes the plunge smooth. The large depth scale is easy to set, and an electric brake stops the blade quickly. Variable speed from 2,500 to 4,900 rpm suits laminates and plastics.
Extraction and rails
AWS connects to a Makita extractor so it starts with the saw. The UK SP001GZ03 comes in a Type 4 MAKPAC with the Bluetooth chip and a 56-tooth Efficut blade. It fits the same guide rails and clamps as the LXT DSP600.
