The story
Workshop cuts on site
Kitchen fitters, shopfitters and flooring installers use the TSC 55 KS to cut worktop recesses, trim doors, size panels and cut expansion joints where no socket is near. On a Festool guide rail it gives splinter-free, dead-straight edges; the splinter guard and transparent sliding window keep the line visible, and the depth and bevel settings are repeatable.
Made for battery work
The brushless EC-TEC motor runs at 5,200 rpm, and the 1.6 mm thin-kerf blades remove less material, so a charge covers more metres. Festool recommends the 8.0 Ah pack for the longest runtime. KickbackStop detects the saw lifting and stops the blade in milliseconds. The chip bag, FastFix spindle lock and optional light module make it a complete kit in its Systainer³ SYS3 M 337.
