The story
Built around the battery
On a cordless saw, every cut draws from the battery, and a thicker blade removes more material. EFFICUT blades use a 1.5 mm kerf and a tip design that lowers cutting resistance, so the saw works less for each cut. That suits carpenters and decking fitters who work a full day on batteries.

Makita lists the blade for the DHS661 circular saw and SP001G plunge saw we carry, among others. At 40 teeth it sits between the fast 25-tooth and the fine 56 and 60-tooth EFFICUT blades, a good choice for framing timber, sheet material and composite deck boards on the same job.
