The story
Edge banding without a cable
Cabinet makers and shopfitters use the OFKC 500 to flush-trim and round solid-wood and plastic edging after gluing, and to break the edges of door frames and boards. Without a cable it follows long panels and parts clamped on trestles easily. The matched OFK 500 cutters (radii 1–6 mm, chamfers and flush trim) all fit the same base runner hole.
Precise and clean
The cutter sits directly on the drive for good run-out, the depth adjusts to a tenth of a millimetre, and a spindle lock makes cutter changes quick. A transparent extraction hood with a ball-bearing brake guides the tool and collects chips; with a Bluetooth battery the extractor starts by itself. Speed is adjustable to avoid scorch marks. Supplied with an R3 roundover cutter in a Systainer³.
