The story
Service holes without a generator
Plumbers, HVAC and M&E installers core holes through walls and slabs for pipes, ducts and cables. The DCD150 does it on a 54V FLEXVOLT battery: up to 100 mm handheld and up to 162 mm when mounted in a drill stand, so coring can start before mains power is on site.
Control and safety
Three gear ratios match speed to bit size, and a variable-speed trigger with slow start helps position the bit accurately. The anti-rotation system senses loss of control and cuts power immediately if the core bit jams. A side handle with soft grip and an adjustable water hose make wet coring manageable at 5.5 kg.
Water and dust handled
The integrated water feed can connect directly to DeWalt's DCE6820N 18V water tank, and the tool can also be paired with a DeWalt extractor for dry coring. It is supplied in a carrying case with a tool-holder adapter and spanners. As a specialist tool used a few times per project, it is also in our rental fleet.
