The story
Pipe penetrations without a lead
Plumbers, HVAC fitters and electricians core holes for pipes, ducts and cable runs through walls and slabs. The DD 150-U-22 does that on Nuron batteries, from 52 to 162 mm in concrete, handheld or mounted on the DD-ST 22 stand, so there is no need for a generator on a new-build floor.
Smarter coring
Twenty electronic gears set speed and torque to suit each bit diameter. Active Torque Control stops the tool if the bit jams during handheld work, and an oscillation function shakes stuck cores loose. Bluetooth brings water-system and vacuum information into one display. Rated input is 1650 W.
Range and batteries
It sits between the small DD 30-W and the corded DD 250-CA rig. Hilti recommends the B 22-290 battery, and cordless-optimised core bits add up to 30% more holes per charge. The kit version adds the stand, two B 22-290 packs and a C 8-22 charger.
