The story
For hard, brittle sheet
Shopfitters, kitchen fitters and façade installers cut HPL, compact laminate, Trespa-type panels, solid surface worktops and acrylic sheet. These materials chip easily and wear teeth fast. The trapezoid-flat tooth form scores and then clears the cut, and the negative rake keeps the blade from grabbing, which protects the edge and prolongs blade life.
For the 160 mm saws
Fine-grain carbide teeth are matched to the TS 55 F, TSC 55 K, TSC 55 KS, HK 55, HKC 55 and HKC 55 K. Combined with a guide rail and splinter guard, it produces clean edges ready for installation. Festool's red colour code marks it for plastics, so it is not mistaken for a wood blade in the case.
