The story
For 254 mm saws
Carpenters and fitters using a 254 mm mitre saw such as the M18 FMS254 for skirting, flooring and trim need a clean general-purpose blade. 60 teeth give a good finish without slowing the cut, and the −5° hook stops the blade grabbing the workpiece.
Gen II construction
Gen II blades have a PTFE coating that cuts cooler and resists resin build-up, laser-cut vibration slots filled with polyurethane to damp noise and vibration, and cobalt-infused tungsten carbide teeth for sharp, clean cuts. Plastics and non-ferrous metal profiles can also be cut.
