The story
Everyday site cutting
Carpenters and builders use a 165 mm saw for studwork, sheathing, floorboards and roof battens. The DHS661 cuts 57 mm at 90° and 41 mm at 45°, enough for standard framing timber, while staying compact at 2.9 kg with a battery.
What you get
ADT adjusts speed and torque to the material. An electric brake stops the blade quickly, a built-in blower clears the cut line, and an LED lights the line of cut. The removable dust nozzle and 35/40 mm port connect to an extractor.
System
The ZU version includes the WUT01 wireless adapter so a Makita AWS extractor starts with the saw. A parallel guide is supplied, and it runs on any 18V LXT battery. German RTJU kits add two 5.0 Ah batteries, charger and MAKPAC.
