The story
The LXT workhorse charger
Supplied in most LXT kits, the DC18RC charges every 14.4V and 18V LXT slide battery from 1.3 Ah to 12.0 Ah. Charge times range from 15 minutes for small packs to 120 minutes for the largest, so one charger covers the whole range.
Why fan cooling matters
A fan blows air through the battery during charging so it can charge faster and last longer, even after heavy use has warmed the pack. The 2.0 m cable reaches from a site socket or van inverter, and the compact housing fits in a MAKPAC.
