The story
For quick cuts during assembly
The PSC-E 18 is the jigsaw for fitters and joiners who need cut-outs, scribes and notches while installing, rather than heavy stock cutting. At 1.7 kg bare with a slim, soft-grip barrel it is easy to steer, and the fixed 90° table means no angle to check before a square cut.
Clean, square cuts
A triple blade guide keeps the blade upright through material up to 40 mm. Stroke rate runs from 800 to 3,500 per minute with four pendulum stages, and the brushless EC-TEC motor with MMC electronics holds speed under load. Light, a blower and extraction keep the scribe line visible; a clip-on splinterguard and plastic sole protect finished faces.
18V system tool
It is designed to pair with the light TBX 4 Compact pack, but takes any Festool 18V battery. The dust connector fits CLEANTEC hoses. The Basic version comes with two wood blades, splinterguard and extraction connector in a Systainer³ SYS3 M 187.
