The story
For metal on the jigsaw
Fitters trim aluminium profiles, cut sheet steel and stainless panels, and cut openings in composite façade boards. The wavy-set HCS bi-metal blade is flexible where it needs to be and hard at the teeth, which gives it a long life. Festool recommends speed 1–3 with the pendulum off.
Fits Festool jigsaws
The T-shank suits the PS 300, PSB 300, the 400/420 series, PSC 500, PSBC 500 and PSC-E 18. The blue colour code marks it as a metal blade. Cooling with a little cutting fluid extends its life in stainless steel and thicker sections.
