The story
A disc cutter without fumes
Groundworkers, landscapers and pipe layers cut kerbs, paving, pipes and rebar with a 14" disc cutter. The CE001G matches that job with a 355 mm disc and 127 mm cut, but runs on batteries. There is no pull-start and no exhaust, which matters in basements, trenches and occupied buildings.
Safety features
AFT senses a sudden stop of the disc and shuts down the motor to reduce kickback. An electric brake stops the disc quickly, and a dead-man switch without lock-on prevents runaway starts. XPT sealing and an IPX4 rating allow wet cutting with the water connection to control silica dust.
Running it
Two XGT batteries in series power the cutter; larger 8.0 Ah packs give the longest cutting time. It takes 20 mm and 25.4 mm bore discs, and a grinding trolley is offered for floor cutting. A common hire machine for groundworks projects.
