The story
Hardscape cutting without fumes
Landscapers and groundworkers cut pavers, kerbs, slabs and rebar every week. The DCS691 does it without two-stroke fuel or exhaust: a 230 mm disc cutting 83 mm deep in one pass, enough for most block paving and kerb stones. That also makes it usable indoors and in enclosed spaces where petrol saws are not allowed.
Built for wet, dusty work
A water feed on both sides of the disc suppresses dust when cutting concrete. The switch is sealed and the battery box latches shut against dust and water. There is no belt to tension or replace, and a rotatable guard with five positions plus a three-position front handle helps on vertical and awkward cuts.
Part of the FLEXVOLT site
It runs on FLEXVOLT batteries shared with DeWalt's grinders, hammers and saws, and Wireless Tool Control can link it to an extractor for dry cutting jobs. A heavy-load indicator warns before the tool is overworked. Because it is used in short bursts, it is also offered in our rental fleet.
