The story
Cutting indoors
Builders, plumbers and electricians need to cut openings, chases and slab joints inside buildings where exhaust fumes rule out a petrol saw. The DCH 300-X runs 305 mm diamond blades at 4900 rpm on a 2300 W motor and cuts 120 mm deep.
Wet or dry
With the water kit, wet cutting is about 30% faster than dry and almost dust-free; dry cutting works with a compatible Hilti vacuum. The depth gauge sets 40 to 120 mm in 10 mm steps, and the blade turns in reverse, pulling the saw away from the operator's body.
Protection
Overload, overheat and water protection help it last in wet, dirty work. It is the corded partner to the cordless DSH 700-22 ATC, and the version sold here runs on 110 V site supply. It is expensive and used occasionally, so we also offer it for hire.
