The story
Who it's for
Joiners, fitters and renovation crews making plunge cuts for sockets and pipes, trimming door frames, cutting nails and sanding into corners. At 1.2 kg bare it is easy to guide for detailed cuts close to finished surfaces. It is also used for furniture cut-outs and boat repairs.
What sets it apart
The StarlockPlus interface grips the blade in three dimensions for more direct power transfer, and the snap-in mechanism changes accessories without a key. Constant speed holds oscillation under load, and an LED spot lights the cut in cupboards and ceiling voids.
How it fits
It accepts Starlock and StarlockPlus accessories and runs on any Bosch 18V or AMPShare battery. The bare tool comes in an L-BOXX 136 with one PAIZ 32 APB plunge-cut blade for wood and metal. Speed selection lets you match oscillation to the material and accessory.
