The story
Who it's for
Crews running large ProCORE18V packs in BITURBO tools, where a standard charger cannot keep up. With 16 A it brings an 8.0 Ah pack to 50 percent in about 15 minutes and to full in 44, so a pack can be topped up during a break.
What sets it apart
A mode button selects PowerBoost for fastest charging or Long Life for gentler charging that preserves the cells. Active Air Cooling uses two internal fans to cool hot packs, so a battery taken straight from a grinder can go on charge right away.
Compatibility
It charges 14.4 and 18V Bosch Professional batteries, including ProCORE18V and AMPShare packs. Five LEDs show the charge state. It suits crews who run several BITURBO tools from a small battery pool, because fast charging means fewer packs are needed on site. Charge current is 16 A, and it handles any AMPShare pack on the 18V platform.
