The story
For high-demand tools
Users of SDS-max hammers, mitre saws, extractors and large circular saws need a pack that sustains high current without overheating. The FB12 delivers up to 50 percent more power than the HIGH OUTPUT 12.0 Ah battery, according to Milwaukee, and gives more run time under heavy load.
Charging and cooling
COOL-CYCLE active cooling brings the pack down to charging temperature quickly. On the dual-bay super charger it reaches 80 percent in 35 minutes and full in 45 minutes; the M12-18 FC takes 130 minutes. A fuel gauge readable in direct sun shows charge.
Durability
The housing resists oils, solvents and grease, and REDLINK electronics protect tool and pack against overload through communication between tool, battery and charger. It fits all M18 tools and is supplied in kits such as the FHACO745 hammer and FCS66GR3 circular saw.
