Why this one
01
8.8 J per blow
Optimum drilling from 18 to 40 mm in reinforced concrete.
02
25% faster
Hilti rates the new generation at around a quarter faster drilling.
03
Active Torque Control
Stops uncontrolled rotation if the bit jams.
04
Dust removal ready
Takes TE DRS-Y and DRS-D hoods for extraction.
The story
Heavy holes without a lead
For groundworkers, MEP contractors and concrete crews drilling large anchor, dowel and through-holes. With 8.8 J per blow and an optimum range of 18 to 40 mm, it does the work that used to mean a corded SDS-max and a 110 V transformer, and it also chisels.
Safety and control
Active Torque Control shuts it down if the bit jams, which on an SDS-max is a real risk to wrists. Active Vibration Reduction holds drilling vibration at 10.2 m/s², and a power-reduction mode helps with softer material and hole starting. The brushless motor is matched to the larger Nuron packs.
In the Hilti range
It sits above the TE 30-22 and below the corded TE 70-ATC/AVR. Pair it with the B 22-290 battery for the longest run time and with the TE DRS-Y or DRS-D hood and a Hilti extractor for dust control. It ships in its own hard case with grease, without battery or charger.
