The story
Reference tool for big holes
Concrete contractors and installers who drill 20 to 55 mm holes by the hundred, or run hollow core bits up to 150 mm, need a hammer that does not run out of charge. The TE 70-ATC/AVR delivers 14.5 J per blow at 2830 blows per minute and also works as a chiselling hammer.
Built to run
The brushless motor needs very little maintenance, and the supply cord detaches so a damaged lead can be swapped on site. Active Torque Control guards against the kick of a jammed bit, while AVR keeps drilling vibration at 8.6 m/s², low for this weight class. A power-reduction setting helps with lighter material.
Where it fits
It is the corded step up from the cordless TE 60-22. For dust control it takes the TE DRS-Y and DRS-D systems with a Hilti extractor, and it ships in a hard case with grease and a 4 m supply cord.
