The story
Sound on site
Crews working in houses, shops and on building sites often want music without a fragile home speaker. The M18 RC has a roll cage and metal handles to survive site use, and streams from a phone over Bluetooth up to 30 m away.
More than a radio
Plugged into the mains it charges any M18 battery and powers a 2.1 A USB outlet, so it doubles as a charging point for the crew. On battery it runs cordless, and a weather-sealed compartment protects phones and players from dust and rain.
Where it fits
The radio works with any M18 pack, which most Milwaukee users already own, and takes an auxiliary input for older players. An equaliser and ten station presets cover daily use. It is an older design without PACKOUT mounting, and batteries are sold separately.
