The story
Cuts in tight spaces
Plumbers cutting pipe under sinks, electricians trimming trunking and renovators cutting through battens use a one-handed saw where a full recip saw will not fit. It runs at 3,000 strokes per minute with a 15.9 mm stroke on a 12V pack.
Less shake
A counterbalance mechanism reduces vibration, so it can be used safely for longer. The sealed gearbox keeps water and dust out, FIXTEC changes blades without a key, and the LED lights the cut line in dark spaces. It is also compact enough for one hand.
Blades for 12V
It comes with one SAWZALL blade. HACKZALL-specific blades have thinner bodies for more cuts per charge. Kits run from two 2.0 Ah to two 6.0 Ah batteries in an HD Box or kitbox, or bare. Standard SAWZALL blades with a universal shank also fit, so you can share blades with an M18 recip saw.
