The story
Straight cuts anywhere
The FS 1400/2 turns a Festool plunge-cut saw into a panel saw that goes to the job. At 1,400 mm it covers doors, worktop widths and most sheet crosscuts. Put the splinter strip on the line, and the blade cuts exactly along it with no offset to measure, including on bevel cuts.
Built for accuracy
The splinterguard strip sits right on the scribe line and stops the top face breaking out. Anti-slip strips underneath hold the rail on smooth boards and protect the surface. The guide jaws on Festool saws adjust to the rail without tools for zero play, and a second groove takes clamps, stops and accessories.
One rail, several tools
The same rail guides the TS, TSC and TSV plunge saws, and OF routers and jigsaws with the matching guide stop. Rails join with connectors for longer cuts. The -KP version adds adhesive pads that stop the rail slipping on very smooth or coated panels.
